Who runs this site, and who does not
This site is an independent comparison site for ghost tours in Galveston, Texas. It is not a tour operator. It runs no walks, no pub crawls and no boats, and it is not any of the operators behind the cards: Historic Galveston Ghost Tours, Ghost City Tours, Galveston Tour Co, Haunted Harbor Tours or Seg City Galveston. Every booking is made on the operator's own live listing, and this site never touches your payment.
How this site earns money
Every booking button on a tour card, and most links placed inside the text, opens a listing on Viator carrying this site's partner tag. All twelve Galveston tours compared here are sold through that one platform. If you reserve a spot after following one of those links, the platform pays this site part of the commission it already collects from the operator. Nothing gets added to your total: the checkout price matches what you would see by locating the same listing on your own.
Affiliate commission is the only revenue this site takes. No banner advertising runs on any page, no operator has paid for a write-up, and no post is sponsored. If a second network joins later, it will be named here before the first tagged link goes anywhere near a page.
The parts of a Galveston trip that pay us nothing
Walking the Strand Historic District costs nothing, and neither does the beach. The haunted buildings named on the tours, from Ashton Villa to the old boarding house at 23rd and Avenue K, are seen from the street, and going inside any that sell their own admission is a separate transaction this site plays no part in. Tours sold only operator-direct, with no bookable listing to confirm, do not get cards here. Free and direct options get a fair mention wherever they beat something we could earn on.
What it never changes
- Inclusion. Every tour here passed the same test: a real, currently bookable listing run by an operator that genuinely runs ghost tours in Galveston, with every figure matching the operator's own listing at check time.
- Ranking. No operator can pay for a higher spot, and none has been invited to. The order within each category follows review volume, so the most-reviewed tour in a section sits first, a claim you can test against the numbers shown on the cards.
- What we say about them. The most reviewed walk carries 1,802 reviews and the Segway tour carries 33, and both figures appear exactly as the platform publishes them. Where a listing does not state a meeting point, the card says so instead of inventing one.
- What we leave out. Brand-new listings with no reviews yet, near-duplicate mirrors of the same product on a second platform, and tours that fall below the quality floor all exist, but they stay on the bench rather than being dressed up as cards.
Where the numbers come from
Every rating and review count on this site is the platform's own published number, read off the live listing at the time it was checked. Nothing is averaged, rounded up or invented. Prices move with the date and the option chosen, so the live listing is always the authority on what a tour costs.
